Focus began in 2003 with a clear mission: the redefine how businesses manage lead generation and sales processes. We identified a significant gap in how leads were converted into sales opportunities.
To address this gap, our approach was hands-on and transformative - we developed customized Sales Roadmaps, implemented CRM systems like Salesforce and took charge of the front-end sales processes as Fractional Business Development Managers. This foundational work involved close collaboration with our clients, recruiting, managing, and coaching Business Development Reps (BDRs) to ensure alignment and success from the outset.
As our expertise and results became evident, our role within client companies deepened. The philosophy of "plan your work and work your plan" resonated strongly, leading to meticulously documented objectives, leveraging technology for insights, and continuous enhancement of selling skills.
By 2012, we made a pivotal shift in our role and identity: from Fractional Business Development Managers to a comprehensive Fractional Sales Management Team. This shift meant taking full responsibility for our client's sales teams, encompassing sales structure, processes, technology, and ongoing sales rep development.
In 2016, the demand for in-house sales leadership grew, yet our clients continued to need our expertise in sales technology management. We solidified our role by partnering with Salesforce, enhancing our ability to offer top-tier Fractional Sales Management.
In 2022, we further committed to these core services by partnering with HubSpot, which offers an intuitive user-friendly platform that simplifies CRM integration and enhances sales operations. This move has empowered our clients to utilize cutting-edge tools for scalable sales success and operational efficiency.

What is your favourite thing to do at the company?
Continuing to challenge the status quo for everything we do and stand for at Focus. I consistently have the itch to do better for my staff, our clients and the businesses we support and our partners.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
Spending time with the family, travelling, coaching T-ball and Rep Baseball and being a spectator in my kids' sports activities. Enjoying their company and seeing them thrive is what fills my cup.

I am a sucker for an incredible salted roast pork sandwich with an Aperol Spritz.

What is your favourite thing to do at the company?
Collaborating and partnering with my clients on their strategic marketing needs; challenging the status quo to drive positive customer engagement and building meaningful relationships.

Spending quality time with my family; allowing my creative juices to flow through art and photography and experimenting in the kitchen, baking and cooking.

A foodie who loves exploring culture through food. My food and drink favs include Aburi Sushi and a delicious Jalapeno Mango Margarita.

What do you do at Focus?
As a Fractional Sales Leader, I work with our clients to build and develop their sales processes and strategy from the ground up. We use repeatable and scalable methods that have been tried and tested in many different industry verticals.
What is your favourite thing to do at the company?
My favourite thing to do at Focus, is to build a sales org for a new client from the ground up. I absolutely love developing the components of a successful sales team that has very little in place to start with. I find a deep level of satisfaction in building something new and using my past experience to shape the future growth and processes for our client's companies.

What do you enjoy outside of the office?
Outside of the office I enjoy just getting outside and being active. My wife and I love to camp and hike which is great as we are in one of the best places in the world for outdoor enthusiasts. I am an avid backcountry snowboarder and my wife Maria and I just recently took up mountain biking to take advantage of the world-class trail systems around us. We are already so lucky that we are able to share this love for the outdoors with our son Theo who just turned 2.
What is your favourite drink/food?
My Favourite Food? That's tough as it changes year over year, but I would say my love for authentic street tacos has been a constant in my life. (Honourable mention for Bún cha; the best soup dish in the world from Northern Vietnam).

As a seasoned Sales Leader, it's my priority to listen to my clients and to solve "what keeps them up at night". I bring a strong dedication to support your company's vision. I love learning about new businesses and more specifically how I can help each individual reach collective company targets.

What do you enjoy outside of the office?
I enjoy all things active with my family - hiking, biking, running, swimming, paddling, skiing, skating and tobogganing. Ohhh and I teach Yoga once a week.

This is tough to say, I love a wide variety of food, from ceviche to carpaccio and everything in between! Ok... maybe not liver and onions! As for drink, H2O, hands down is my favourite.
